OPEN SPACE OF DEMOCRACY

The highlight of the artist-in-residence project “Art and Democracy in the Bavarian Forest” in the Aller.Land programme is the co-organized OPEN SPACE OF DEMOCRACY Festival on 18 and 19 October 2024. At the end of the six-week residency programme, the four participatory art projects will come together and be presented to the public at a two-day cultural event organized together with the students and project partners.

The project “Art and Democracy in the Bavarian Forest” is part of the funding program “Aller.Land - zusammen gestalten. Strukturen stärken.”. The program is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM), the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb). The program partner is the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI). Aller.Land is part of the federal program Rural Development and Regional Value Creation (BULE plus).
