BYCZ AiR: CZECH-BAVARIAN AiR PROGRAM 2024

This year, the international artists’ residence SCHIESSLHAUS AiR will be launching a Czech-Bavarian Artist in Residence Program. The BYCZ AiR PROGRAM 2024 is a cooperation project of the Municipality of Kollnburg with Plzeň 2015 and part of the program INTERREG Bayern – Česko 2021-2027, co-funded by the European Union. Artists and creative professionals from Bavaria and Czechia are invited to apply for a two-month residency at the historic monument „Schießl-Haus“ located in Kollnburg in the Bavarian Forest, half way between Munich and Prague. The four selected resident artists  – two artists from Germany and two artists from Czechia – will receive a total artist’s fee of EUR 2,500 including travel and material costs for their participation in the public program and the educational program. The AiR program is process-oriented and seeks to inspire interdisciplinary dynamics, intercultural exchange and participatory approaches.
